About me

Introverted extrovert, mother of 3 gorgeous boys (17 and 12 year old twins). Yes life has been busy. Wife of a Stunt man, (my real life iron man). I don’t drink coffee, gasp! I’m a sucker for good ol, old school values. Thinker by nature and philosopher at heart, I’m up for living a meaningful existence. I can be a bit of a fussy pants (my hubby laughed when he read this, maybe not a bit) and think I may have a mild form of OCD and ADD. I am a perfectionist but in no way perfect.

Originally, from Durban and currently living in the most beautiful city in the world, Cape Town. I moved here almost 9 years ago to pursue a full-time career as a make-up artist, model and actress. I worked doing all three for a while but as I found my feet it started to get quite busy on the modeling/acting side that it ended up becoming a bit of a juggle and I wasn’t able to commit to make-up jobs and thus I decided to put down the brushes and focus mostly on acting and modeling.

I am passionate about people and everything health, beauty and fitness and am forever on a quest to be my best self and encourage others to be theirs, always researching and seeking out the best advice, treatments and products to achieve this as naturally as possible. Being in the industry there is huge pressure to maintain a healthy/youthful appearance and therefore I make a point of staying on top of my game and up to date with all the latest research.

If there’s one message I’d love to put forward, it would be:

“no matter what your age or your circumstances, it’s never too late to start your journey to a better and more fulfilling life. Obstacles are often created and defeated in the mind.”

Combine all of the above and boom you have this page, a place where I get to share my honest health, beauty and fitness tips and the odd philosophical thought or life lesson. I’ve wanted to start this for yonks, but never had the time however now that my kiddies are a little older and I find myself having more time I’m ready… Hahaha, who am I kidding, that’s not true, I’ve suddenly found my life so so so full, but I’m going for it anyway! Carpe diem!
