Ponds Age Miracle Double Action Serum – Review

Ponds, a brand most of us are familiar with, one we’ve grown up with, having memory of at least one product on our, mother’s, aunts and other women in our lives side tables. It’s a brand that’s been around forever and is a well-known and loved drug store skincare range.

Considering the above it’s crazy that I have never actually used any of their products, other than their recently launched face masks, which FYI, I love!

Well that all changed recently when I was sent their age Miracle Double Action Serum along with a pretty little rose quartz roller to review and, as with their masks, I was super impressed, what a great, cost-effective product. If you’re looking for  more bang for your buck, look no further.

The Rose quartz roller include with the serum, was a lovely little addition and a great tool to use. In a nutshell, Rose Quartz Rollers assist with lymphatic drainage and help with product penetration.

My thoughts:

The serum is light yellow in colour with a faint but pleasant scent, there’s the slight whif of Retinol but this is masked by the products own scent.

After using the Ponds Age Miracle Serum for 4 weeks now, just enough time to start noticing results, I am impressed. I take very good care of my skin, so it’s sometimes tricky to share my results in the form of before and afters but in saying this, I am very in tune with my skin and can tell right away, what feels good and what works and makes my skin look good/better.

And this most definitely works! And it’s cheap enough to slather right down my chest, yes, girls, you should ideally be taking your products right down. Do you know that the skin on your chest is more sensitive than the skin on your face, so best you start looking after it!
