Dear Deer, Satin Pillowcases – Update and a little something for my readers

My first ever blog post was about the benefits of satin pillowcases and my discovery of Dear Deer, an amazing local brand. And now, just over a year later I’m back at it, writing about this amazing brand and product. This time with some updated and exciting info to share as well as a little gift for my readers… Want to know more, keep reading.

Soooo since my last post, Dear Deer has had a full revamp, and have redone their entire look, website and packaging. And it’s oh so pretty!

Other exciting news is that they’ve also just recently been PETA and Vegan approved. But why PETA you ask? Well, because they use satin to make their pillowcases and not silk. Did you know that farming silk is cruel and in order to make just one pillowcase, thousands of silkworms will need to die? This is one of the many reasons why Dear Deer have chosen to work with Satin and why they have been PETA approved.

And Vegan? Same, same really. In order for a product to be Vegan approved it must not contain meat, fish, fowl, animal by-products, eggs or egg products, milk or milk products, honey or honey bee products, insect or products from insects such as silk or dyes, or sugar filtered with bone char. So, ya! There you have it, some cool new updates!
