Pureology Smooth Perfection review

My hair tends frizz a bit, it’s not a hectic frizz but I have those pesky flyaway frizz bits on the top, which drive me nuts. My bestie Carrie (a hairdresser at Innovation in La Lucia Mall) is well aware of my pesky frizz and recommended I try Pureology Smooth Perfection.

I’ve been using it for almost 2 years now and it is hands down my favorite salon product. Want to know why?

Tames and protects my mane  –

Pureology Smooth Perfection boasts ZeroSulfate®. This is a blend of 6 extra-gentle surfactants derived from coconut, corn and sugar which cleanse hair without stripping colour or causing damage.

These natural lathering ingredients are sulfate-free, do not contain colour stripping salts and are a whizz at keeping my frizz-prone locks under control leaving my hair feeling smooth, soft and manageable for days.

Smell –

I have never used a better smelling shampoo and conditioner, for reals! You have to smell it to believe it.

Lasts forever! –

It lasts forever. A bottle literally lasts me about 3 – 4 months (conditioner a little longer as I normally double cleanse), I kid you not! This is because it’s double concentrated due to them reducing the amount of water when manufacturing. They estimate product to last up to 70 washes.

Environment –

The brand have a massive focus on sustainability and really do play their part in making the world a better place.

All packaging is made out of 50% recycled materials and they use minimal water in every step of their manufacturing process. In doing so they have managed to reduce the amount of water use per batch by 58%. Love!
